Seriously, there are obsolete laws like that all over the USA. Usually they apply to an issue that once mattered but no longer applies - such as a fairly common prohibition against tethering horses to the fence in front of City Hall.





Laws like the one about high heels (if it's real) are not enforced.
Reply:It's Mobile, Al and it requires a permit for any heel over 1 1/2 inches.
