When I put the car in park the key won't turn off. I've replaced the ignition switch and a broken spring behind the airbag. Now the problem is worse. Does anyone know whats causing this and how to replace? It doesn't recognize the car is in park and take several times of putting it in and out of park for it to release the key.

Shift cable. Sounds like it needs adjustment.
