What is the name of the artist that painted the actual portrait of dorian gray?

i am trying to find out who the movie studios or producers selected to create the painting for the movie. it is a real painting. i know because i saw it at a museum in new york a few years ago, along with the guys other work. it's really beautiful by the, but i can't remember the artists name. please help. anyone.

What is the name of the artist that painted the actual portrait of dorian gray?
Ivan le Lorraine Albright was originally commissioned in to create the title painting for Albert Lewin's film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. It hangs in the Art Institute Chicago See pic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Albrig...

But at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adaptations... I read (I quote) " another artist's was used in the film ... but Ivan's (portrait) was a great success, and made him somewhat of an instant celebrity."

There is no mention of who this artist was.

:} "Beautiful" is debatable.
Reply:Ivan Albright he was an identical twin born in Chicago in 1897. He made his own paints and charcoal and carved his own frames. He was rather macabre and even painted his studio black
