In the postwar years, Japanese factory workers protested poor working conditions by deliberately producing too much. This made factory owners pay for otherwise unnecessary storage space. What's more, they couldn't sell all the surplus without lowering the price and thereby losing profit. What was this called? Where are the (English language) references to it?
What was the name of the Japanese labor protest where factory workers deliberately produced too much?
There is a book Japanese Workers in Protest that talk about this one and many others that the Japanese worker did. Very interesting book.
