What is the name given for food suppliers to restaurants?

I am having a mental block and driving me nutz! A purveyor, or veyor of some kind. Also, spelling and pronunciation of "garmagee." A person that does garnishes (fancy) for dining plates. Old waitress/cook/losing mind obviously. Thanks.
