What is another name for bicycle brake cable?

I'm trying to get some form McMaster Carr for a robotic project and can't seem to find it. I know some people call is Bowden cable, but it's not listed under that. Any sources for that stuff (in long lengths) would be appreciated.

What is another name for bicycle brake cable?
I know this sounds too simple but search McMaster for

Push / Pull Control Cable

Edit: page 1154
Reply:"wire rope"

The McMaster-Carr website uses frames so I can't provide a direct web link but if you go to their site http://www.mcmaster.com/ and search for "wire rope" you will find several options. 304 Stainless Steel wire rope is typically used in bicycle brake cables.

Wire rope is also used in rigging and popular with boat builders and balustrade builders. You can find wire rope in chandler, bolt barn or general building hardware stores.

This document http://www.workcover.nsw.gov.au/NR/rdonl... is about rigging but has lots of useful information on the types of wire rope.
Reply:Try to find 1/16" dia. steel wire woven cable. It should be available in any good hardware store.
Reply:bicycle brake cable aka two-wheeled human powered vehicle deceleration wire
Reply:Look for stranded stainless steel wire. McMaster Carr sell that.
